The other day I was feeling a little down. I don't know why...probably because I have been paying more attention to the sugar in "healthy" foods and staying away from it (withdrawl maybe?) Well, earlier that morning, a video popped up when I was searching for my morning motivational video to listen to as I got ready for work. The video was named "How to Change Your Emotions". I didn't listen to the whole thing but one thing she said, I decided to put into practice the moment I recognize my low energy. She stated that thoughts created feelings.
What you think about will bring about associated feelings. When I decided to think of something that made me smile (my puppy), I started to feel better. My energy shifted and my day got better. The main thing to remember is you're always in control of your thoughts. If you aren't make it a point to get control of them. Life seems less chaotic when you do. What do you think? Have you had a similar experience? Feel free to share.
