It's the end of the day, and you just want to plop down on the couch and breathe. The day just started out wrong. A traffic accident caused you to be late for work, the kids missed the school bus, you forgot your lunch, and an unexpected thunderstorm came up with no umbrella. You are in luck April is Stress Awareness Month. According to the Federal Occupational Health page, you can bring down the stress level through reading, jogging, playing with a pet or laughing. Don't let it get you down, just take the time to unwind.
Simple ways to unwind
include picking up a hobby you hadn't done in a while, reading a good book, watching your favorite funny movie, hanging out with your fur baby, sitting quietly and reflecting on all that is well in your life, aromatherapy, meditate, yoga, and the list can go on!
